Based on last year’s overwhelming success, the Burnett Area Arts Group is sponsoring an art show featuring the work of local high school students during National Youth Art Month.

The five participating schools are Frederic, Grantsburg, Luck, Siren and Webster. The art teachers from each school help the students in grades 9 through 12 create and select their pieces of original art.

This unique show gives community members an opportunity to appreciate the talents of local high school art students. The event is scheduled for Friday and Saturday March 8 – 9 at the Northwoods Crossing Event Center co-located with Tesora restaurant in Siren.

The show opens Friday at 5 p.m. with a special recognition ceremony at 6 p.m. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Event Center is located at the crossroads of state highways 35 and 70 in Siren.
