DESCRIPTION:Jordan Buck Day \nSaturday September 28\nOn November 20\, 1914\, James Jordan (22 years old) harvested a massive 10 point whitetail deer near his hometown of Danbury in Burnett County\, WI. Eventually\, the buck was recognized as the world record by Boon and Crockett Club. It’s antlers measured 206 1/8″ according to the clubs scoring system. As of now\, this record still stands.\nThis famous buck will be commemorated through Jordan Buck Day.\nJordan Buck Day includes a parade followed by a town and area celebration\, including food trucks\, booths\, and musical entertainment.\nJoin us! \n11:00am – 4:00pm: Craft Show / Artisans: including Jordan Buck Ice-Less Fishing Contest\nLocated on Main Street & 1st Ave S \n11:00am – 5:00pm: Food Vendors:\nLocated on Main Street next to Last Cast Tavern \n11:00am – 3:00pm: Kids Activities – Inflatables\, Deer Corn Treasure Hunt\, Games\nLocated at Blueberry Junction Playground \nNoon: Jordan Buck Parade Begins \nLineup starts at 11am in the Log Cabin Store parking lot \n12:30pm: Danbury Fire Department Open Houses \nLocated at the fire station.
