Registration for Grantsburg 3 Gun’s May Shoot is now open on PractiScore.com.
After a long winter, it’s time to hit the range at the Grantsburg Rod and Gun Club for our first 3 Gun shoot of the year! We will have two stages set up. One in the 100 yard rifle bay and one in the pistol bay.
Grantsburg 3 Gun has adopted the United Multi-Gun League (UML) rules. There will be little difference to what we’ve done in the past. Just some minor adjustments to how we score and some new safety procedures.
You can view and download your a copy of the UML rules at:
The benefits of becoming part of UML is its detailed rule book and point system for attending matches. This will help attract more Shooters to come to our events and may encourage some of our regulars to venture out and enjoy a 3 Gun shoot at other clubs and ranges.
Per UML rules, a written stage briefing (WSB) must be made available to competitors before they shoot. The WSB’s will be posted at each stage at the day of the event. They will also be emailed the night before to those on this email list. So you got that going for you; which is nice.
As in the past, the events will be held on the second Saturday of each month. The mandatory safety briefing and course walk through will begin at 10:00am. Sign in will start at 9:00am.
