This special weekend recognizes the WIDNR Free Fun Weekend and National Trails Day\, making it the perfect time to explore two of the region’s most scenic routes. The Stower Seven Lakes Trail offers a beautiful fourteen-mile ride from Amery to just outside Dresser\, while the Gandy Dancer State Trail stretches forty-seven miles from St. Croix Falls to Danbury\, passing through charming communities and offering rest stops\, history\, and plenty of natural beauty! \nTrail maps and additional information are available through local visitor centers and trail organizations\, including discoverpolkcountywis.com\, visitsiren.com\, gandydancertrail.org\, and the Friends of Stower Seven Lakes State Trail Facebook page. A wonderful opportunity to get outside and enjoy Wisconsin’s trails for free!
