Event Details

This paddle is for women woodland owners, women who love the woods and women who just want a day on the wild and scenic St. Croix River! If you qualify under one of these categories, this paddle is for you. Paddle leaders from the SCRA, MN DNR and MN Women’s Woodland Network will share their knowledge of the North Woods’ forest and wildlife, forest ecology, and managing a woodland property during the day’s 12 mile journey from Nelson’s Landing to Hwy 70 north of Grantsburg, WI.

This wild stretch of remote river will offer the opportunity to enjoy nature and expand your woodland knowledge with like-minded women and new female friends. Wildlife, wildflowers and wilderness are all part of the adventure too, so grab your bestie and paddle with the SCRA!
