Springtime in Burnett County is supposed to be a time of excitement as visitors come to enjoy the emerging leaves and wildflowers, migrating birds, sunshine and warmer weather.
We usually look forward to seeing our friends that spend the winter in warmer climates return to the area. We usually encourage visitors to come enjoy all the outdoor spaces and friendly faces at our area businesses.
But now we have been instructed to stay home and stay safe in order to minimize the impact of the virus on our full-time residents.
At the Burnett County Tourism Coalition, the well-being of our residents and visitors is our greatest priority.
Please visit our Covid-19 page for local resources and for Governor Tony Evers Safe at Home- Emergency Executive Order #12, effective March 25th, 2020.
