The people have spoken, and The Shop Bar & Grill at the intersection of county roads A & H has been voted the top dining experience for 2017!
Opened in 2002, The Shop Bar & Grill has been slinging drinks, burgers and more for locals and visitors for 15 years. When the owner, Kari Budge, built the place she never thought the food side of the business would take off like it has.
“We built a really small kitchen to supplement the bar business, we never imagined the food would take center-stage,” says Kari.
Nonetheless, this small kitchen is serving up some of the best food in Burnett County. It’s definitely a must-try if you’re up for the drive. They have many claims-to-fame, including their hand-mixed, hand-pattied burgers, reuben sandwiches and jumbo shrimp dinners on Saturday evenings. The Shop also offers breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays.
