With over 300 miles of enchanting, scenic, and smooth snowmobiling routes stretched across the area, Burnett County becomes the perfect location for your winter adventures. Snowmobile trails are marked with orange blazers and will be open from December 1st through March 31st, as long as there are more than 4 inches of snow covering the ground.

Burnett County is home to over 500 lakes! This wide variety of frozen lakes provides ideal ice fishing possibilities. Our lakes also offer a vast array of fish species to match up with any fishing goals you might have! With popular lakes like Yellow Lake and Clam Lake offering multiple lakeside bars/restaurants, you never have to worry about going hungry when you’re out on the ice, we’ve got you covered on that front as well!

With the broad assortment of trails and forests surrounding our area, Burnett County is the perfect place to try out some new hobbies like snowshoeing! Take in the beautiful scenery as you smoothly travel through the woodsy nature.

If you’re looking for something more quaint and off the grid, try one of our many resorts such as the Webb Lake Inn or the Bir Oaks Resort. If you’re still looking for something more private, you can find some fabulous Airbnb listings within the county!
